The Resistance of Bil'in & Ni'lin

In 2005, Israel's Separation Wall cut through the lands belonging to the neighboring villages of Bil'in and Ni'lin, annexing more than 60% of the villages land for Jewish settlements. Since that time, both villages have begun weekly demonstrations against Israeli occupation every Friday after the noon Adhan, or call to prayer. Utilizing both methods of peaceful and militant demonstrations, the villages of Bil'in and Ni'lin have become the quintessential symbol of Palestinian resistance.
